Anyone who watches this page (what's a number less than 1?) knows that I have been writing a novel in my spare time. Unfortunately, the process is coming along much slower as I am working with 100% original material. Picture writing fanfiction, but in order to write it, you first have to create the game/anime/tv show your story is based on.

In addition, I've had Mycoplasmic Pneumonia for a month. Right now I'm recovering, but the steroids and antibiotics I'm on right now have some... unpleasant side-effects. Needless to say, I've been rather out of it, and I have not gotten a chance to draft anything, however, I can give you some basic information and updates.

The story I am writing has moved from the realm of modern fantasy to the world of near-future science fiction. I totally scrapped my original ideas, started over with the base concept, and took the story in a new direction.

I really can't tell you much else, other than that I am currently researching A LOT of near-future weaponry, projected advances in science, and other things critical to creating a believable backdrop for my story. I hope to start planning chapters soon, and I can (hopefully) begin writing within a month or two. If it doesn't pan out, well, I can keep you waiting, right?
